Alltell and MobiTV Join Forces
Alltel, the nation’s largest wireless network operator, and MobiTV, mobile television and digital radio service provider, announced today that they have joined forces. MobiTV will offer live portable television broadcasts and special “made for mobile” content to wireless customers starting Monday. Initially, the service will be rolled out to customers with the new RAZR V3c, an updated version of Motorola’s popular RAZR line of wireless phones. The service will offer 25 channels of content initially including content from such names as ABC News, CNVC, ESPN, ROX Sports and the Discovery Channel. MobiTV is available for $9.99 a month and can be downloaded via the Axcess Apps catalog on the new Motorola RAZR V3c.
