Building on the success of the Sony K800 mobile phone, Sony/Ericsson is releasing a more cost-effective 3G phone, the K600i. Packing a VGA-quality camera mounted on the front of the unit for video calling. Yes, video calling. It is only a matter of time now before we here in the states are able to play like our Euro friends over the drink. the K600i comes with other standard features like Bluetooth capability, 33MB internal memory (no expansion slot?), MP3 and AAC/+,MPEG4 playback enabled and fully functional video streaming capabilities. But, while the K600i comes in a compact form factor, the feature list is, well, not exactly full. So, the K600i represents an entry level 3G video enabled phone for the masses.
